An asbestos survey is a comprehensive check of your property to identify any asbestos-containing materials. There are three types of asbestos surveys - management surveys, refurbishment surveys, and demolition surveys. Each type of survey is designed to identify different risks and levels of asbestos exposure.

• Management Survey - This is a standard survey that is carried out in all non-domestic premises. The purpose of this survey is to identify any asbestos-containing materials that may be present in the building, assess their condition, and provide a management plan for their safe removal or maintenance.

• Refurbishment Survey - This survey is required before any refurbishment work takes place in a building. The purpose of this survey is to identify any asbestos-containing materials that may be disturbed during the refurbishment work, so that they can be safely removed before the work begins.

• Demolition Survey - This survey is required before any demolition work takes place in a building. The purpose of this survey is to identify all asbestos-containing materials in the building, so that they can be safely removed before the demolition work begins.
