Asbestos Management Surveys

Our asbestos management surveys are designed to identify any asbestos-containing materials already present in a building. These surveys are required for all non-domestic buildings built before 2000, and for domestic buildings where major work is planned.

We conduct a thorough inspection of the premises, including all accessible areas such as ceilings, walls, floors, and service ducts. We then provide a detailed report of our findings, along with recommendations for managing any asbestos-containing materials.

Asbestos Refurbishment/Demolition Surveys

Our asbestos refurbishment/demolition surveys are more extensive and are required before any refurbishment or demolition work takes place. These surveys are designed to identify any hidden asbestos-containing materials that may be disturbed during the work.

We conduct a more extensive inspection of the premises, including areas that may not be readily accessible, such as behind walls and ceilings. We then provide a detailed report of our findings, along with recommendations for the safe removal of any asbestos-containing materials.

Asbestos Sampling and Analysis

If ACMs are found during our surveys, we offer comprehensive asbestos sampling and analysis services. We take samples of the material and send them to a UKAS-accredited laboratory for analysis. We can then provide a detailed report of the asbestos type, quantity, and condition.

Asbestos Management Plans

If ACMs are found during our surveys, we can provide an asbestos management plan to help our clients manage any asbestos-containing materials effectively. Our management plans include detailed information on the location and condition of the ACMs, along with recommendations for their safe management or removal.
