Step 1: Site Visit

The first step in our asbestos survey process is visiting your property to assess the building and identify any potential hazards. Our surveyor will evaluate the type of survey required based on your property's condition, then take samples of any materials containing asbestos that require identification.

Throughout our site visit, we check for ACM's where we identified them in previous surveys and re-evaluate management plans for those locations.

Step 2: Report Writing

Once we have completed our site inspection and taken samples, we will carry out a thorough search for asbestos-containing materials. We identify any areas that require further assessment or lab testing for asbestos confirmation.

Once this process is complete, we will put together a comprehensive asbestos survey report, outlining the ACMs identified, their location, and the potential for damage.

The final asbestos survey report will also advise if any remedial work or action is required.

Step 3: Risk Assessment

Affordable Asbestos Removal Devon will conduct a risk assessment to accompany the report so that you can make informed decisions on dealing with any asbestos found in your building. Our surveyor will categorize and prioritize the ACM's based on the level of risk to you or your occupants of the building.

Step 4: Asbestos Management Plan

Lastly, we will work with you to develop an asbestos management plan detailing the recommended action and timeframe for the removal of asbestos.

Our management plan will include regular asbestos checks for reevaluation and monitoring of the identified asbestos.
