There are two types of asbestos surveys management surveys and refurbishment/demolition surveys. A management survey is designed to identify any asbestos that is present in a building or structure that is likely to be disturbed during normal occupancy or maintenance. A refurbishment/demolition survey, as the name suggests, is designed to identify any asbestos that needs to be removed prior to refurbishment or demolition work taking place.
