Our asbestos surveys are tailored to your specific needs and requirements, depending on the type of property, its age, size, and use. We offer three main types of asbestos surveys, each with different levels of detail and sampling:

• Asbestos Management Survey: This survey is a non-destructive inspection of your property to identify any asbestos-containing materials (ACMs) that could be disturbed during normal use or maintenance. The survey aims to locate and assess the condition of all ACMs in your property, and provide a management plan to monitor and manage them safely. The survey doesn't involve any intrusive or destructive work, and only sample materials suspected of containing asbestos if they are easily accessible and safe to do so.
• Asbestos Refurbishment/Demolition Survey: This survey is more extensive and intrusive than the management survey, as it aims to identify any ACMs that could be disturbed during the demolition or refurbishment of your property. The survey involves the sampling and analysis of all materials that could be affected by the planned work, including hidden areas and service ducts. The survey provides a detailed report and plan for the safe removal of any identified ACMs before the work starts.
• Asbestos Sampling and Analysis: If you suspect that a material in your property contains asbestos, but you are not sure, our accredited technicians can take samples for analysis at a UKAS-accredited laboratory. We use the latest techniques and equipment to ensure accurate and reliable results.

All our asbestos surveys are carried out by our own fully trained and qualified staff, who hold the BOHS P402 certification and have years of experience in the field. We use the latest digital tools and software to capture data and create comprehensive reports, which include detailed photographs, diagrams, maps, and risk assessments. Our reports are easy to understand, and we will explain any technical terms or jargon to you in plain English.
