There are three main types of asbestos surveys that we offer, depending on the purpose and scope of the project:

1. Management Survey: This type of survey is necessary if you want to maintain a building or keep it in good repair. A management survey involves a visual inspection of all accessible areas of the building, including ceilings, walls, floors, and service ducts. The surveyor will identify the location, type, condition, and quantity of any ACMs present and assess the risk of exposure to occupants and workers.

2. Refurbishment Survey: If you are planning to refurbish or upgrade a building, you need a refurbishment survey. This survey is more intrusive than a management survey and involves sampling and analysis of suspected ACMs that may be disturbed during the refurbishment work. The surveyor will provide a report and plan for safe removal or management of these materials before the work can begin.

3. Demolition Survey: When you plan to demolish a building, you need a demolition survey. This survey is the most comprehensive and invasive one, as it aims to identify all ACMs present in the building, including in inaccessible areas such as behind walls and above ceilings. The surveyor will take samples of all materials that may contain asbestos and provide a report with recommendations for safe removal before the demolition work begins.
