An asbestos management survey is a non-destructive survey that aims to locate the presence and extent of any asbestos-containing materials (ACMs) in your building. This type of survey is required for all non-domestic buildings built before 2000, and for domestic buildings where there is a shared common area, such as a staircase or roof space.

During the survey, our trained and experienced surveyors will examine your building's structure and construction, looking for any materials that may contain asbestos. We will take samples of any suspected ACMs and send them to an accredited laboratory for analysis.

Once we have identified the presence and extent of any ACMs, we will produce a detailed report that outlines the location, condition, and risk of each ACM. We will also provide recommendations for managing the ACMs, such as leaving them in place, encapsulating them, or removing them.

Our asbestos management surveys are conducted in accordance with HSG264 Asbestos: The Survey Guide, and all our surveyors are BOHS P402 qualified, which is the industry standard for asbestos surveying.
