The Asbestos Testing Process

There are several testing methods that we can use, depending on the type of material that we are testing. These methods include air testing, bulk testing, and surface testing.

Air Testing

Air testing is used to detect asbestos fibers in the air. This method is used when asbestos fibers may have been released into the air, such as during a renovation or demolition project. We use specialized equipment to measure the concentration of asbestos fibers in the air.

Bulk Testing

Bulk testing involves taking a sample of the suspected material and sending it to a laboratory for testing. This method is used when the material is large enough to be sampled directly.
