Asbestos management surveys are usually the first step in identifying the presence and condition of ACMs in a building or structure. The purpose of a management survey is to locate and assess all ACMs that are reasonably accessible and may be damaged or disturbed during normal occupancy or maintenance activities. A management survey does not involve destructive testing, but may require some minor intrusive work, such as lifting floor tiles or ceiling tiles.
